Bowden, why don't you point to parts of the fact pattern that shows why my Bama friends are wrong. The hire does not bother me. If he sucks then it will bother me.
However, you should not conclude he was the DC in waiting at Bama because it isn't true.
Using your logic no one but Saban would have any idea if Pruitt would be the next Bama dc. That includes people running a message board. So if the fact no one has any idea makes you feel better than so be it.
However, two of the Bammers I know have a pretty good idea.
In the end, I am accepting Pruitt for what he is as a DC: An unknown. That is all any logical analysis would lead one to conclude as of today.
