One would think that was already addressed and anyone who has just been fired should be humbled to have another great job to go to regardless of who the boss is. Plus since they know each other it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm sure Sunseri and Pruitt will work very closely with one another.

Losing Stoops sucked at first glance, but Adding two coaches who coached EXCELLENT Alabama defenses, and are familiar with the kind of program we're building, is HUGE. Learning under Saban is a bonus.

Not to mention his success in the NFL. Some guys aren't cut out to be coordinators.

I'm not worried about it (of course that is because I am a Bama fan) but that question could be asked anytime one peer is placed above another one. Remember Sal volunteered to be placed under Pruitt's authority and wasn't promoted from within.

Lets say he wasn't a good defensive coordinator at Tennessee. So what? We didn't hire him as defensive coordinator.

And I'm not saying their defense was bad because he sucks. I just think that was a terrible situation. The team has little talent. Their state doesn't produce much talent. They're trying to poach players out of States where the kids just have better options. Hiring a new coach isn't going to fix that.

Agreed , that's all I was saying not trying to start a fuss, Wilcox had even less talent and experience the year before and were 27th nationally , that's not great but respectable but Sal just sucked as DC , he will be a darn good LInebackers coach, offense didn't quit on us but defense was worst I've ever seen in 40 years. Maybe we'll get on right track and I think he'll adjust to Pruitt, he ought to be happy to just have a job after last year. I will say this, Chaney took OC at ARKY not demoted , he did a great job for us and UT fans would have been happy to have retained him, Sal was demoted even in coming to you guys that speaks for itself if he would have been retained there would have been riots, lol. I think he may be more disliked by UT fans than KIFFIN. Anyway hope ya'll beat the Gators every year.

I really hope Sunseri is coming in as the DE coach and not the LB coach. The vast majority of his LB coaching experience has been OLB in a 3-4 which is basically the same as DE in a 4-3. Lets go find another DJ Eliot for the LB position and get Bisaccia on board as the RB/ST coach.
