Great news. I hope Pruitt moves him to CB now or at least get him some reps there.

I have always looked at LMJ as one of, if not THE heart of our defense. He's a leader. If Stoops' scheme would've allowed for it, we would've seen him as the electric playmaker that he is in the secondary.

I think the way Pruitt coaches DB's will bring Joyner's true playmaking prowess out. He's a heart and soul kid who leaves it all on the field.

Give that kid the captaincy of our defense next year, and let him loose. I think he's going to be BIG TIME for us in 2013.
So happy to have him back. If we can get Jones and Watson back, I'll feel absolutely ecstatic.

I don't know that he is better suited for corner in the league. Safeties who can cover are a huge thing these days. He's a very good tackler with a nose for the football, and the ability to cover. Heck, his size isn't all that different than Troy Polamalu. I'm not saying he's as good, but he's got a tremendous knack for being around the football.

He said after the game that he doesn't expect to hear anything good from the NCAA and will stop pursuing the fifth year. He's leaving.

I think this is a smart business decision on Joyner's part. Hope Watson and Jones make the same smart business decision.

Werner coming back would be a dumb business decision. If you've got a shot at Top 5, you have to go.

He had some big hits to break up some plays too. Plus our DBs just seemed to not make very many interceptions in Stoops defense, but they had a lot breakups
