Jonas Gray 6.9 YPC 12 TD's Cierre Wood 5.4 YPC 9 TD's
If you don't know how to spell the QB's name, I'm not sure you've watched much ND football either. Rees was 6 for 13 for 60 yards 0 TD's and 1 pick and 1 fumble lost against Stanford tonight. He also led his team to 14 points against BC at home. The same BC that we scored 28 points in the first half against. I'm no expert about Notre Dame, but I do know for a fact that they historically play a weak slate of defenses.
Notre Dame could beat us, but I would feel very confident against them.

I've watched every ND game that's been on TV the last three years, and most before then. I also drank every bit of alcohol in my house last night and was drunk and fabulous by the time I posted.
I'll say this--ND's offense is way better than UF's, and Wood is ND's feature back. Plus, Floyd will be the best WR we've seen since Watkins, and of the three teams with elite WRs that FSU has faced, eventually the WRs burned us. But obviously, ND hasn't played a defense like FSU's, so Rees could be running for his life all game long.
There are actually many points of comparison between FSU and ND that make me think FSU has a slight edge, but that that the game can go either way. Both Jimbo and BK are in their second year as HC, and the schedule is somewhat similar--ND played BF, WF, and Maryland. Like FSU, ND rolled Maryland, and unlike FSU, ND beat WF on the road. But like you mentioned, BC gave ND fits, unlke FSU.
Something ND did that FSU didn't do, however, is beat a ranked team (they beat #14 MSU.) And other than the opening game against USF, ND didn't have any unexpected/disappointing losses--all of their losses were to ranked teams (Michigan, USC, Stanford).

Like someone said...the CFA bowl is SEC #5. Thats right about where Auburn would be. Now if UGA beats LSU and SEC has 3 teams in a BCS bowl then that might change things. Auburn and Clemson have already played twice in the last year. They wouldnt want that for a third time. FSU would be their next choice due to the amount of fans we would bring.

Sooooo Who do we play and in what bowl???
