    I guess it's that, and that Bowden will be there for the Murray St game to be inducted. A little less than big news, as far as I'm concerned, but I understand why DK would be excited.

    While I was critical of post-2000 BB, he deserves better then the Murray St game. Half-time of the goater game would work, Clemson too, but Murray St? That's a slap IMO.

    Perhaps there is merit to what you say. However, it sure would have to help the overall attendance for that game I would think - and BB was always about helping our university anyway he could. BB is such a beloved legend, he will command the highest level of respect from FSU anytime, anywhere.

    I hope he comes back plenty in the coming years.

  • It is the FSU HOF, not the college football HOF. FSU is dubbing the Murray St game as Hall of Fame Weekend. Several of FSU's past greats are being inducted including Kanell, Bobby and others.

    Nope, I think all the digging out we've had to do from coaches who were literally not coaching and not recruiting in the last 6 or so years of that period merits Murray State. When this school became a passive investment strategy to the Bowdens, they lost UF halftime status in my eyes.

    I can see that side of it too. As I said, I was highly critical of BB during the 2000's, he about tanked FSU football in the name of cronyism and nepotism, but I'd also like to see the fence mended as well.
