So when Loucks plays poorly...

  • We lose. I think that more than anything else is a barometer for our success.

    He was atrocious tonight, and Ham rightly benched him for the entire 2nd half. Unfortunately, we saw why Peterson is at his 17th school in his college career tonight.

    So damn frustrating to finally come this close to winning the ACC only to have dook sink every imaginable 3 tonight....

  • i don't understand why people keep pointing out duke hitting all those threes like they were hitting fade away shots with hands in their face. they got wide open three after wide open three because we didn't guard the three point line all night. what do you really expect to happen. that is on fsu, not duke. we lost because we didn't play well. other than duke hitting wide open threes, they didn't play all that well.

    2 things here...

    First, you must not have watched very close because at least 5 of their 13 three balls came with ridiculous pressure. Yes several were open, but so were several of ours, that's just basketball.

    Second, Dawkins killed it from beyond the arc, which is out of the ordinary. He is very, very streaky and has had numerous games under 6 points this year while he went 1-for shooting the basketball

  • I still don't understand why with both Plumlee brothers having 4 fouls at around the 10 minute mark we didn't feed the ball inside to James and Gibson.

    BTW, imagine how much better this teamm would be with a healthy Terrance Shannon.
