No. 340 is not good weight on anyone shy of 7'5". However, he's a freshman and we won't need to see him for a year or so.

Exactly...Goldman's ahead of him right now anyway.
I love Shanks, though. The kid bleeds G&G. If I remember correctly, he attended quite a few of our events and camps on his own dime after already committing. He has potential to be a great run stuffer...something every d-line needs.
BTW, 8% BF is literally impossible for a 340 pounder haha...most of the bodybuilders try to cut to like 2-4% for competitions, but are definitely 10%+ at other times.

I've never understood the thing about "bleeding G&G". Once a player gets onto a team, they're going to be all for that team. Look at a guy like Tim Jernigan. Guy was a Gator all his life if I'm not mistaken, right up until he committed to FSU at the last minute. He didn't grow up "bleeding G&G", but now that he's enrolled at FSU, he absolutely does now.

Shanks looks otherworldly huge. He obviously has some fat to cut but what a warthog. He has a Vince Wilfork quality.

Yeah dude. Holy crap. He is just a massive human being. I would like to see Shanks, Amp, Snorlax and Timmy standing next to each other to gauge the fatness. Wilfork is pretty gooie (sp?). That pic of Shanks is actually pretty comforting. He'll be a monster with a redshirt year to get stronger.

Crap, absolutely.
Once he learns to play with the proper leverage/pad level(Odell's specialty) he is going to be unblockable. And possibly by two players.
That should allow the 320 water bug Goldman to run around and make plays at the 3tech.
The two true frosh DT's honestly look like 5 year NFL vets. It's ridiculous.
