Sunseri wasn't high on Levenberry or Bellamy while at Tennessee. That didn't sit well with the family.

I'm not one of those to say "we didn't want him anyway" when a recruit chooses another school, but does DK's skillset fit into a predominantly zone blocking scheme, anyway? Feet are a little slow, not that tenacious, from what I heard.

I'll throw out some names that I don't believe will redshirt.

Matthew Thomas, Stacy Coley, Jalen Ramsey, Marquez White, DeMarcus Walker, Ira Denson, Levonte Whitfield, Desmond Hollin, Freddie Stevenson

26-28 was what we thought FSU would take. The staff missed on a lot of guys down the stretch and they're not going to take bodies to fill those spots, they'll roll them over to 2014.

but Sunseri actually RAN the defense at Tennessee...so he was looking for players who BEST fit his scheme. Obviously he didn't think Bellamy would be the next Jarvis Jones, like UGA pitched. Here, it is going to be Pruitt's system. Sunseri will have input, but EJ should not be worried about not being valued at FSU if Pruitt wants him.

Just a though to add on Denver Kirkland:

Although it means very little, John Franklin, Ira Denson, Ryan Hoefeld, Jesus Wilson and Keith Bryant all think that Kirkland is coming to Florida State.

This kind of combines 2 classes and may be impossible to know, but since we will be signing fewer than expected, will the staff look to concentrate heavier on kids that have a good shot of being EE's in the 2014 class?

Every staff looks for quality EE's. The problem is, it's hard to project who will actually be an EE. About half the kids that say they will EE in June, end up actually enrolling early.
