    1-3 are all difficult games. I see us going either 2-1 or 1-2 in that stretch. Largely depends on scheduling.

    4-7 are all teams that can beat us, but FSU should be favored by 7+ points. I think we lose one game out of this bunch as well.

    8-12 should all be easy wins, but as we saw last year, we can't take any of these teams for granted. Should go undefeated in that stretch.

    10-2 or 9-3.

    ......and the Orange Bowl. IMO. We have too much EXPERIENCED talent coming back to not win a BCS bowl. Anything less than a BCS win is a losing season to me

    I'm given up on having lofty expectations for our team. We just haven't shown it on the field lately. My new formula that doesn't allow me to buy into the hype: 1 less loss per season than the previous season unless we grad a QB, then 1 more loss. I hope to be wrong more often, but it stops me from jumping ahead of our actual on field performances.

    So 10-3 or 11-3 is what I expect next year. Anything more I'd be happy with. Anything less, I'll be sad.

  • Clemson will probably be the biggest game of the year. If we beat Clemson, we are pretty much in the ACCCG.

    The 2 losses u r referring to must be Clemson and WV. I think we go undefeated. For some reason i think Clemson regresses next year with everyone(ACC) now getting a feel for their offense. We might not even play WV which means we will have to sub them with a D2 team. If we did play WV i think with our team speed and dominate defensive front, i think it will be close until the 2nd qrtr.

    UF is going to be even worse on offense this year and JT wont be there to give them pity points . UM is gonna be just as bad. VT might present a challenge but until we see D. Wilson's heir apparent, we should have no problems with them. Wake was a fluke. USF has regressed for the last 2 seasons. Other than that, our schedule is tailor made for us to go undefeated this year. I dont think its strong enough to get us into the NC though. I only see 2 ranked teams on this schedule and I dont even thnk they will finish ranked. If we dont go a BCS bowl, I dont see Jimbo making it another season . We squandered away one BCS bowl. 2 would be too much to overcome

  • WVU is not that good. Yea, they had a great bowl game, but they also lost 3 games last year, and 2 were to average Big East teams. Lets not go announcing them as the greatest offense on Earth because they had 1 good game.

    I knew we were a year away this past year. I still had us in the Orange Bowl but with 2 losses. I figured a Clemson loss because they always play us tough and we hadnt won in Death Valley in years. I thought we would beat OU. I also expected 1 BS loss. I didnt expect 2 ( Wake and UVA) So i get where you are coming from

    There is no excuse this year. Im going all in this year.

    I say we win 2 more next year, one regular season and finally the ACCCG.

  • If we go undefeated, we're in the national championship unless there are other teams undefeated, which is highly unlikely. That being said, unless our O-Line gains an All-American or two, we aren't going undefeated. I'm assuming our OL plays a bit better, but I don't expect anything amazing.
