A down year? This is the deepest year for RB's instate I've seen in a long long time. That's pretty much common knowledge. There are easily 12+ BCS conference RB's. Four or five of them have an argument for best in the state, including Green.
Turman
Taylor
Henry
Green
Lane
Collins
Folston
Bryant.. Yep, Down year alright. These are just the big names right now, there are a bunch who will emerge this spring and summer.Legio mihi nomen est, quia multi sumu [My name is Legion, for we are many.]

I don't disagree that it is a deep crop of upper middle talent, but there's no question that the state lacks elite level rb talent this year. It actually seems to be a down year on elite rb talent nationally compared to other years.
I don't see a Matt Davis or pender or Lamar miller and certainly no Richardson. Missing elite level guys, IMO.

In Lamar Miller's class he wasnt considered elite.
In the state of Florida most people had him behind, Richardson, Jamal Berry, and even that Giles kid.
Bryce Brown was also considered "elite" that yr.
The depth of this yrs class at least stacks up against some of the state's best classes of recent.
Richardson, A.Peterson, Lattimore, and McFadden were elite prospects. I dont know why Pender and Davis were in that sentence. Pender is "upper middle talent."
To have a "deep crop of upper middle talent" is impressive in its own right.

247 agrees with me, btw. Compared to 2012, the backs in this years' class (especially APB) are all rated considerably lower. There is only one kid in the country rated higher than 97 this year, last year there were SEVEN. This year there are 8 rated 95 or above. Last year: twice as many at 16.
If you extend the current number of 5 stars to those who usually make it (25-30) there is no Florida back in that range.
Turns out the Gators lose this one. That should get to be a familiar feeling after this year.

When he previously visited Notre Dame, the word is he was close to committing. Now he visits Florida St. and he says they definitely moved up. As much as I would like for him to be Irish and you want for him to be a Seminole, I don't even think he has an idea.. It's going to be an interesting process.

Well, all the Gators I know love our running back class so far, so I dont see the loss there.
There are at least 7 backs in Fl that are 4stars or better, and its still early in the ratings process. Seems pretty deep to me.
Losing should get to be a "Familiar feeling?" Who knows? Maybe it is FSU's turn. But, if I were you, I would reserve comments like this.
For now, I have no rebuttle. But, I will say this, skill players need oline recruiting to be somewhat adequate, to succeed.
