Post Game MNC thread.

  • Growing up I hated listening to Brett Musburger. Now that I am more mature, older, see the world different. I hate Brent Musburger.

    If you havent seen LSU play this and this was the only game you saw you would think that hadnt won all year.

    I have no idea what Miles and staff did the last 5 weeks.

    Jefferson should have been taken out after the first quarter. Terrible.

    Someone started a thread that said D didnt win NC championships.... wrong.

    Rare to see a team win a MNC with a kicking game as bad as Bamas.

    Only game more boring than this one was the first one.

    Nice to see LSU take the record for lowest points scored in a BCS game from us.

    The honey badger is overrated. Bama went after him on the first play and didnt stop.

    I truly believe we could see FSU in this game next year.

    They were having one of the best recruiting classes ever, shudder to think what they wind up with!

  • SEC suckfest. Boring game. The media and the four letter netrwork lobbied for this even before their first meeting. They got what they wanted and appears to be a fail. Horrible game to watch.

    I kept up on ESPN.com but didn't watch cuz I didn't want to hear it and I was boycotting the concept.

    Like I said on facebook:

    LSU finished 13-1, Bama finished 12-1. Their head to head was 1-1. By my count, that puts Bama 0.5 games behind LSU in the SEC West. Yeah a national title seems completely legit to me.

    I think you are referring to my thread with the SI article asking does a highly powered offense matter to NC chances. I agree 100% with you that Defenses win championships and my thread was simply trying to source better data to prove it. Based on the way Jimbo is building our team, I get the sense he is thinking the same way.
