Well, that isn't what I said. I know players at FSU have had their problems with the ganja (ahem, Preston Parker) even as recently as Fortson. The joke was that Percy had such a prevalent problem that it wouldn't have been possible to keep his migraine self-medication under wraps at FSU as it was in Hogtown. I mean, the now infamous draft story was that when Childress flew into Gainesville he made Percy pick him up, in Percy's own car, to make sure it passed the smell test if you catch my drift. That's how well known his
habit was.

Vikings beat writers are reporting that Christian Ponder is setting up workouts with Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. Those will likely be held in Tampa, according to reports.
One interesting lockout-related item: Ponder told the St. Paul paper that he thinks he's the only Vikings player with a copy of the new offensive playbook from Bill Musgrave. He got it when the lockout was briefly lifted, so maybe he can work with the Vikings' wide receivers in the coming months.
If any rookie quarterback can learn a playbook without talking to a head coach or offensive coordinator, you have to bet it's Ponder.
