Perception of Bama Recruiting and BOL

A quote taken from Fisher's bio, "At LSU he helped to develop a number of outstanding college quarterbacks, including Josh Booty, Rohan Davey, Matt Mauck and JaMarcus Russell". For the sake of generosity I'll throw in the names Xavier Lee and Drew Weatherford. Quaterback guru indeed. JAWALRUS RUSSEL!!!

All those players you listed, except for Lee and Weatherford -- who were ruined beyond belief by the time Fisher got here -- all were drafted in the NFL draft. JaMarcus Russell and Christian Ponder were both first round picks too. Not to mention the QB's he coached at Auburn too. What they do in the NFL is up to them. It's not Jimbo's fault that JaMarcus quit on football once he got 60+ million dollars, became 300 pounds, and only wanted the pay-day. Not sure why you're bringing him up, since he was an All-American at LSU under Fisher coaching/development.

So, nice try, but that doesn't discredit what he's done in college with his QB's

Because those are the quarterbacks that he developed and "prepared for the next level". Thats what you stated in your previous post. None of these of these guys were "prepared for the next level" considering they all flamed out, some (JaWalrus) more royally than others. You are right about one thing. I forgot the about the great Patrick Nix from Fisher's days with Auburn.

    Jasorry Harris = UFA

    Morris will = UFA

    Gray Crow LMAO

You know what though Jimbo is a total master at making these guys look NFL ready and elite and tricking all those stupid NFL scouts into thinking that these guys would be stars. What a charlatan that guy is!

You keep misunderstanding what I'm saying. The point of my posting that you responded to was that Jimbo Fisher hasn't made any of his quarterbacks NFL ready. Some one mentioned earlier that Fisher does a better job with quarterbacks than Saban because Fisher had supposedly developed so many NFL talents (i.e. JaWalrus Russell). There was no comparison being made between FSU and UM quarterbacks.

Rigggght, lol. I'm going to assume you are joking good-naturedly. If not, please provide proof of any and all alleged violations (as I'm sure you would tell a Bama fan about Coach Craig). TIA

IF you didnt know T Richardson is drving a car work over $50,000 that is registered under his name then you are not a very big Bama fan. Try google, there is plenty of proof. This is the first article that pops up from Google "trent richardson new car"

fact is Jimbo gets COLLEGE QBs prepared for the NFL, he does not have control how the develop in the NFL..... Being from Mobile I know more about J.Russell stroy than anyone else, his role model, father figure, and person who was his mentor died soon after he was drafted. Russell is the type that needs someone like that in his life, at LSU Fisher, Saban and Les played those roles, we all know in the NFL, no one is going to be those tyoe of guys for you. Russell is very talented, just lacks motivation.

bottom line is Fisher has put 11 QBs in the NFL, once in the NFL it is up to that individual ( not Fisher ) to succeed.....

I'm used to it by now. After several years at another site, I've learned Bama never loses a game, they unwin them. As for recruits, if a "target" goes elsewhere, Bama didn't really want them because they get everyone they want. There are homers, then there are most Bammers

To be fair, there is absolutely zero difference between what you attribute to Bama fans and what we see from a large percentage of Nole fans.

I can recall few games in the last 20 years that FSU fans have agreed was the result of being beaten by a team that just outplayed the Noles - most have been "we don't play well in the rain", "the refs", "injuries to player x", "the refs", "coach x screwed up", "the refs", etc. Similarly, to many fans, FSU has never been the second choice of a recruit, it's always "he wasn't wanted", "school x paid him or his family", "the coaches stopped recruiting him due to character issues, grade issues, not being as good as touted, having someone higher on the board", etc.

There really is very little difference among fan bases of college football teams.
