One thing about our team that frustrates you the most

  • I am sure most will say OL, but for me, it is the fact that Jimbo NEVER leaves a RB in the backfield to block when we are in obvious passing situations. I understand our OL sucks. I have been saying that since game 1. Jimbo has to know he has one of the worst OL in FSU history. How can he run deep routes without keeping a RB in for help and expect anything more than a sack.

  • Drive extending penalties. Followed closely by sure sacks that aren't finished, which turn into first downs.

    The offense has troubles. But this defense should be dominating.

  • I agree with just about everything said here, but you know what the worst thing in my mind was?

    That Fisher didn't look angry. Fisher never looked like he had any fire in him at all, nor was he trying to fire up the players. Maybe it was just the cameras, maybe they didn't show any of it, but it looked like Jimbo was painfully apathetic today.

  • My problem is him giving up on the run game when it was actually working. I just don't understand. Your QB is ALREADY injured. The line is struggling to block three people. And yet there we are, chucking it all over the place.

    Is every game from here on out a "passing scrimmage"? Jimbo is not dumb. I refuse to believe that. But how can he not see that passing every down is killing us?

    The running game for sure. It was looking decent. JWJ was power running, Freeman broke a couple, even JT and TJ had a run or two. Then absolutely nothing. And it wasn't the score dictating that we had to throw, it was still early and we were within a score or two. A lack of a running game put the defense on the field more than needed ( what was the TOP for each team anyway?)

    The RBs aren't staying in the backfield yet we dont give them a first look out in the flat. Only passes to a back in the flat today were last second chucks out there as our QBs were being sacked.

    yup. this and inconsistency are the 2 things that exasperate me

  • The losses. I can handle everyone playing like crap as long as we pull out the win. Problem is if we keep playing the way we are we'll be extremely lucky to have a .500 season.

  • I agree missed sacks killed against Clemson and once again today. The defensive players appear to be sub par tacklers.

  • Almost every aspect of our team frustrates me. Outside of Greene, Werner, Hopkins and Powell I don't see a player stepping up to be a leader.

    No identity on offense, mental lapses by seniors, EJ's lack of touch/accuracy, unwillingness to establish the run, lack of involving Pryor and O'Leary in our game plan leaves much to be desired on offense.

    Defensively lack of adjusments, mental mistakes and costly penalties, playing players who should be on the bench, questionable scheme.

    Honestly we are 0-3 this season the first 2 games mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Don't know the answers and honestly don't know if the coaches/players do now.

    Maybe that preseason ranking was the worst thing for us.
