Years of drinking Crown & Cream have led me to the following conclusions:
Use A&W or Winn Dixie Chek Cream Soda. Use a 50/50 ratio to start with. Adjust the ratio to taste after you develop a taste for it. I personally use about 70% Crown, 30% Cream
Only Use Publix Cream Soda if you're drinking Crown Black; doesn't taste right with regular Crown.
If you use Crown Black with A&W or Winn Dixie Chek Cream the drink isn't as smooth so you may need to adjust your Cream ratio
