"This Scout.com recruiting ranking doesn't make any sense. How are we #15 when we have more 5 stars than most and we have the highest average. And Miami has 32 recruits!?"

Haha... my fiance said she wanted to get married in the fall but would check with me for FSU's schedule first to make sure its not a big game ...

Mine got me a giant framed photo of Coach Bowden holding the spear up with the team behind him in Jax for our anniversary. I was speechless

Congrats dude. You, my friend, are lucky. My girl loves football, we both go to UCF so obviously she likes the Knights. But she's originally from Ohio, so her family are HUGE buckeye fans .

For me Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Rangers, Red Bulls (I know soccer doesn't count but still). Mets, Jets, Islanders, Nets, Bills.............those are 2nd tier teams

Took my fiance to her first FSU ghome game this year (she's a UCF grad) and she couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the stadium was and how cool the Flaming Spear was. Then she turned around and surprised me at x-mas with tickets for the bowl game. So I decided to raise the stakes and propose on NYE. You can't find a better adopted Nole fan than her so I stopped trying.

Fall weddings are not a problem if you have the ceremony on Sunday instead of Saturday.
That's what we did and got to enjoy FSU whipping Miami's keyster all over the field and FU losing to LSU with friends and family in a nice lake house then go get married the next day. It was great!

I got married in August and she is a gaytor fan and loves football so I guess I can't win em all LOL. Her birthday was the same day as the FSU UF game and we spanked em in the swamp...needless to say I none that night for sure, but it was soooo worth it. LOL

Then I got to Tallahassee and I lost all my passion for pro sports. I spectate, but I don't feel it "life or death" like I do with ALL FSU sports.

I feel your pain. I get acutely hypertensive for 3 hours every Saturday in the Fall. It's really not healthy, but I can't help myself.
She's from Essex county, so I believe that's right next door to you?

Yeah, my wife grew up a Gator, but switched to FSU shortly after we started dating. We both went on to graduate from FSU. She is the only girl I know that knows more about FSU football & baseball than most male Gator fans know about their sports! She works in a Physical Therapy office and has old guys picking her brain about football & baseball.
It's great to have a woman who loves sports almost as much as I do.
We got married in May during the last week of baseball season...needless to say she wasn't happy when we had to miss the final weekend of the regular season. She watched GT vs. scUM on TV while getting ready for the wedding so she could get her "fix" of baseball. People tried to turn it to cartoons for the ring bearer & flower girl and she refused!
