I'm noticing the focus shift from 'what if Florida State and Clemson jump?' to 'ok, will it just be those two...or more?'. I may be reading too much into that...but from where I sit it seems to say things have progressed...as if FSU and Clemson are a done deal...which if true, makes me very happy.

Does anyone know how your exit fee is structured. Do you have to stay in the conference for X number of years after telling them you are leaving and therefore not having to pay an exit fee or are you locked in for the term of the TV contract.

If we're going to have an Eastern Division, we need Eastern schools. And since we recruit Ga, Florida, South Carolina, we need rivalries closer to home than Lubbock TX to interest kids that will be coming here.

And yes I'm buying that it's a done deal. I can appreciate that reasonable folks chose to maintain a skeptical view that it is indeed happening. But there are too many close to the program confirming this has been firmed up through back channels. Big money folks, people close to the staff, etc. Folks that don't involve themselves in the day-to-day internet rumor mill.
