Noles close to flipping Bama commit

    Not defensive in the least, just splainin the fact. I am agreeing with what you are saying. The good fans will always outweigh the bad ones, the bad ones just get more press and then all are lumped in as "delusional".

    You defended those fans who came in here blasting FSU, how am I suppose to take it. I would not defend those type fans cause they do nit represent me nor FSU.....

    And then commented to me that I an lumping a fan base together when I didn't. I said BOL posters.... ever since JW there have been those who have thrown out all kind of things about FSU.

    Also never said you was one of those types.... just stating my personal encounters on both good and bad.... I have been in BDS when Bama was average and the fan base was totally different. Winning tends to bring the scum to the surface more often than not. Cause the ones who are humble tend to act like they have won before. They don't go around trashing anything and everything not Bama.

    Unfortunately for other teams those "type" will always represent your fanbase. I didn't come here to defend anyone. Everytime that Bama and FSU are battling for a top recruit, which seems to be a lot more recently and probably will continue, that will happen.     Maybe so. The point is that i could talk to people like you about football all the time, no matter what team we pull for. The other "scum" as you said is what floats to the top and then they are the ones who get the most publicity. I guess that will probably never change.

    Being a resident of Bama I have seen both sides of Auburn and Bama fans. I have had the privilege to roll Toomer's Corner and sing Rammer Jammer. Both of those fan bases have a unique passion and at times becomes unbearable to deal with.... and I know FSU has them too...

    Because we haven't top 10 talent every year, especially once you look at the enrolled rankings.

    Yes I have. A few times as a matter of fact. Got a few friends who are alumni of Auburn and been to many games.... Hell at one point I went to like 9 straight Iron Bowl games....

    Great. Point taken. This a recruiting story and commenting thread on an FSU website. I don't think anyone here has an interest in reading about how the kid would make a huge mistake leaving the greatness of the windswept mudholes of Mobile for Tallahassee. And I don't understand why there seems to be bammer confusion about how their comments are not being well-received.

  • Actually, I think The DB by the name of Trevor Ford was the last MNW kid to go to FSU.. I believe he came in the class with Fred Rouse.. Got in trouble and dismissed from the team. Kid had potential smh
