yep. I remember we wanted him badly too, at least i know i did. We ended up with Coker for that class which may end up making a big impact next year, i think he may supplant trickett.
Anyways, Marshall has enough baggage that he was dismissed from his team. Maybe we take him at a different position, but i dont believe we have room in this class for a QB. We are going into 2013 with 4 QB's on scholly.
RS JR- Clint Trickett
RS SO- Jacob Coker
RS FR- Jameis Winston
RS FR- Sean Maguire
Not sure he would beat out any of them to be honest. He is best served probably going to KSU who seems to be recruiting him the hardest

I don't think the team would take a QB with baggage unless he was Cam Newton level good.

He was offered a scholarship from Gus Malzahn and Arkansas State. If Gran were to take this job, this would be a great quarterback to have running his show. However, if Malzahn likes him that much, he could come over to Auburn and do some big things as well.
Either way, the kid is tearing it up on the field.
