Nice article on former FSU OL Andrew Datko

  • Article discusses Datko's first team reps and opportunity to make the team as a 7th round pick.

The seventh-round draft choice from Florida State got the opportunity to practice with the first-string offense this week.

  • Lets face it. With healthy shoulders, Datko has 1st/2nd round ability. Now I understand he is an injury risk because of that, but if by some chance he recovers, you are looking at 1st/2nd round talent in the 7th round. Great pick by the Packers. Even Datko does not pan out, it is not much of a loss seeing as the investment was just a 7th rounder. Picking Datko is a pick that has only upside and very little downside.

  • huge Datko fan and im happy he is getting his chance. Plus with the type of doctors the packers can get him, maybe they can fix that shoulder or make it serviceable. I hope to see him anchoring that line in the future

  • When healthy datko was our best offensive lineman. I just wish he was not forced to play do early.

As always Croz; succinct and well put. Rooting for Andrew is a no-brainer for this Nole. I guess Trickett taught him a thing or two during their time together, although he can't really coach according to some.

I hope his shoulders can hold up and he can make some big fat dolla in the NFL.

    Up-vote.
