You'll believe it when you see it? That's kind of sad. If you can't see how the program is improving now, before we've won anything, then you are missing what is right in front of your face, and what's more, you're missing the fun of the journey.

Every year comes with hype... And we haven't backed that hype up since 2000... I enjoy fsu football as much as the next guy.. But success is measured by wins. OU should have been a W, Clemson should have been a W... UNC, NC State last year... I will believe it when I see it. Sorry if I don't give in to blind homerism.. We are a very under achieving team.. How long have we been saying next year is the year?? I'm ready to see it on the field.
Judging by your post you truly believe next year is the year, no? You believe we will win it all next year? Good, I'm glad you are confident. I will believe it when Jimbo raises the hardware.

When you say that there has been hype every year since 2000, you clearly buy into blind homerism. There were multiple seasons where there was really no reason to be so optimistic. And if you bought into a NC this year, then you bought into blind homerism again.
What I'm telling you is that 10-2 this year is reason to be excited. Heck, even 9-3 makes me happy. Every year that does not end in a National Championship isn't a failure. The best we can hope for as a fan is for our team to improve each year. I'm convinced that this team is better than last year's, and with all that is in place, it's hard to believe that next year (NC or not) will be better than this one.

If you are implying that a four loss season is the year of the Nole then yes.. You go ahead and bask in that glorious season. It was good, there was improvement, but you are severely misinterpreting the meaning of "our year" if you think that 2010 was our year.
@ Kum -- yes of course, I'm agreeing with you.. Flawless logic.

Next year has been a common theme...
