Pittsburgh (PA) Central Catholic QB JJ Cosentino visited Florida State on Saturday and once the visit ended, the Class of 2014 prospect called the Seminoles his leader.

Not too worried about Penn St because they just got the #1 QB in the country. Can we get a quick scouting report on this guy? Is he a Joe Flacco type with some escapability or is he someone capable of running option plays and having a lot of designed rollouts, etc.
EDIT: I am also very surprised that Jimbo Fisher is pushing for a QB and other teams are not piggy backing that and going after him

This kid is a big time prospect and will continue to progress over the next year.
I've seen him, as well as Christian Hackenberg from the 2013 class, both play live in a game situation in Pennsylvania. I don't mind standing on my own on this one, but I think Cosentino is the better prospect and more polished at this level.

Good to hear. I'm interested in his quality as a Field General and his smarts, to be able to absorb and execute Jimbo's 800 odd play permutations. Have you or anyone had a chance to talk with this kid?

I figured so. I just dont see how people at other schools can watch that film and not offer this kid. The NC St's, Va Techs and Maryland of this world should be doing everything they can to get this kid hes the real deal.
That throw at 50-55 seconds is one of the best throws i have ever seen a HS player make period. He spends a couple of year learning the playbook and working out and he will be 6'4 235 with an even stronger arm

Amazing Jimbo gave him the go, I am excited about this. His arm strength should go well up as he goes from 6'5 200 to 6'5 230.

Surprised he doesn't have more offers yet. I have liked this kid from the word "go" and it looks like Sunseri is paying off big already.
