That's where things are going to be a little interesting. Because we were so (justifiably) focused on stopping the run, Tech had some WRs wide open that their QBs missed. If Lynch can hit a few passes downfield, the FSU defense is going to have to "read and react" rather than just swarm to the line of scrimmage, and that could lead to a few sustained drives if NIU's OC calls a good game. The big question to me is whether the NIU OL will be able to hold up long enough to give Lynch time.

And that's where I think that it doesn't matter so much how the OL works. Lynch has shown this year to make many plays out of a blown play, Toledo and Kent St. had many. The OC is the permanent HC.

If and this is a big IF, FSU's front 7 plays like it did against GT, this game will be very close. Lynch isn't a true qb by any means, but his ability to make plays out of nothing reminds me of Denard.
Also another note is that the MAC is looking to subsidize NIU so that they don't lose any money.
