    No dust my man just looking at the basic facts. You don't have to drop your membership, but take a pic in some Hurricane gear. Think about it every player we lost to the draft and graduation have been replaced. I forgot about Louis , Lockhart, Lewis and with Carter the WR is going to be excellent. Golden did a great job of bringing players to make an immediate impact. The O-Line will be our best postion period. Everyone keeps forgetting all of our loses were by a touchdown or less. Many of the teams we play next year lost a lot of talent.

    Smart Cane fans know the only players that's going to be missed are Miller and Spence. Golden did a great job of finding players to make an immediate impact.

    No Im a 100% confident. This kind of reminds me of the same situation back in the 90's with Aurburn. Remember when the NCAAssholes hammered them and they went undefeated.

    will they make an impact, yes... but not an 11-1 impact.... besides the oline the rest of the positions are a mystery. Be honest, you have no clue how these youngsters will react to situations they have never faced.... UM can win as many as 9, but 11 is just a little off the wall..... they have 6 games that are swing games... KSU, FSU, USF, UVA, VT and ND..... those are possible 6 loses or 3 loses..... I think UM can split those games... but 11-1 come on really think about it... FSU returns waaaay more than UM and I am saying 10-2 for us.... no way UM goes 11-1....

    go look at that Auburn team and tell me the difference, there was a lot of experienced talent on that team.... Pat Dye left a gold mine there for Terry..... it is no coincidence that once Terry was recruiting that team went down hill

    and what is crazy Jimbo ( I believe ) was the QB coach and D. Craig was the QB for that team.... ironic isn't it...

  • I just want to see what Trucker Cane says to explain next season when the Canes don't come anywhere near 11-1 and get whipped in SunLife in front of a Seminole majority crowd. Please tell me you're just messing with us because if not Im truly concerned about your mental health.

    If Howard has a good off season, he will be a All-American. Duke will have a big impact on special teams and third down. I personally want him to redshirt to gain more weight and just to take a break. They really ran him a lot in high school . I think if bush puts on some weight he might surprise everyone. Bush is a physical kid that can play corner and safety. Bush and Howard are both physical something we lacked last year. That's why Golden knew what type of players we needed and did a great job of filling out the roster.

    you gave us a ton of IF's..... now if those IF's don't happen is 11-1 still your prediction...

  • 3 guys will not make you guys11-1. Your qbs aren't good, rb meh, outside of dorsett your wr don't scare anyone. You guys have decent safeties but that is it.

    In all reality, the people we lost can and will be easily replaced. ( except for Miller) Unlike other UM fans don't realize most of 2011 class used their redshirt status. So they've had over a year to learn the playbook and become bigger and stronger. With Howard, Bush, Kirby, Duke, McCord and maybe Carter who I think will replace streeter. We will not miss a beat. Like i said before we will go 11-1 with the only lost to UVA. Orange Bowl champs if the NCAAssholes doesn't screw us. Both projected starters are well over 300lb. You guys missed porter in last years game, because of injury. This guy is a beast. Don't for get about the plug, who also had an excellent off season. If I remember correctly our half azz D-Line did a great job of slowing your offense down. I was there on the fifty !!!!! Defensively were are going to be scary, I think Coach D is going to open the playbook more this season. Last year with D wasn't all that talented, event with suspensions and all that NCAA crap teams still only beat us by a touchdown or less. We had a freaking Wake Forest reject starting CB who almost had a pick against you guys. Now imagine we have the number one corner in the nation. Wow, doubt us now, but in reality you all know were a force to be taken serious. The Evil Empire Strikes Back !!!!! In Golden We Trust !!!!! It's All About The U !!!!!!!

    I think they need to up your dosage and stop drinking the spoiled koolaid. Probably the funniest part of of your rant is of all teams to keep you from running three table, you picked uva. How abouts this if um goes 11-1 i will post a picture of me in canes gear. But when miami Gets 2nd loss of season, come here and post a picture of yourself decked out in FSU gear and apologize to us for subjecting us to your absurdity

    Not worried about the if's confident it's going to happen. If you get a chance go to our side and look at the strength results. I heard a rumor that a some of the players turned pro because they didn't want to go through The Tie's U Tough program. I think this year he really turns it up, like Jimmy use to.

  • Tough off season workouts does not mean a thing. Bottom line is it isn't always physical. It is the mental aspect that a lot of young kids have a problem with.

  • Just because you believe something is going to happen, doesn't mean it will happen. Just because you plant seeds and prepare for rain, doesn't mean that the rain is going to come...

    And in your case, your seed quality is poor, your soil is rock hard shale, and you're farming in the desert of Arizona.

    I'm not ranting, just having a good ole football discussions with the boys . I picked UVA because he knows the tie very well and has his number. They were on the same staff together at UVA. The Coach has done a great job of getting his player to play above their level. You guys witnessed that first hand. Also he brought in an excellent recruiting class and when we play their it's kind of electric.

    I get being confident, but what exactly leads you to believe that many freshman will make this team into 11-1.... and those players leaving cause of the strength program doesn't makes this a 11-1 team.
    Is the culture changing at UM, sure, but again doesn't make this team 11-1..... experience is HUGE.... and UM lacks that..... 9 wins is a ultra successful season for UM..... You could easily be 2-2 after the first for games and as easy as 2-4...... also look at Bama big turn around, they had a lot of upper classman on that team..... upper classman and experience is very improtant on a young team.....

    again what is a realistic record.....

    Good point !!!! Coach Golden stresses the mental part of the game as much as the physical. That's the million dollar question though how to get a kid mentally ready. That's were I think our academic requirements come into play.
