    I'll upvote you back. Fwiw FSU will have no drop off next year so UF will have to improve.

    There's no way to really compare the paths of each team, fairly. And I have no problem admitting that.

    FSU will have the pressure, but it looks like they have the depth and talent to deal with it. Along with a favorable schedule, in terms of FSU's talent vs their competitors. As long as the oline strengthens, which is likely, the ride should be smooth.

    UF is gonna be up against it. People are writing off Tamu in the SEC, but their oline will be top 4-5 in the conference, if not better.

    For an offense in serious transition, ala UF, their run gm could be their defense. Their defense will be weaker...but against opponents that cant score..thats manageable.

    So, as of now in terms of improvement, I cant really see any gm past the Tamu gm. Because UF's front 7 is gonna be tested bigtime, imo.

  • I give credit when due even if its the gators. Very good pickup. He was one of the best linemen in the conference and is very good

    The offensive line should be the best Jimbo has had at FSU. Every RB will be coming back. The important WRs will be back. The TEs will be back.

    2013 offense will resemble 2012 defense in terms of returning talent and expectations. The defense will be just fine with two first round DT talents, still 6 deep at the position, and the overall #1 player in the country at end.

    2013 may be the year that offensive football returns to the rivalry. It should be a very good matchup.

    QB in 2013 is a question mark but the winner of the Trickett/Coker/Winston/Maguire battle will be a baller, no doubt. By the UF game that QB will be battle tested and ready, too.

  • be interested to see how the '13 defense looks after possibly losing Jenkins, Tank, Werner ,Dawkins,McCloud, McDaniel, Jones, Vince, Reid, and Rhodes. a big year from Joyner and i could see him gone too. oh, and our defensive coordinator.

  • At this point I can't imagine anyone but Coker winning the QB job next year. Trickett is still just too small and Coker has the same attributes IYAM. If Coker takes on Trickett's film room habits he will soar past him. JMO.

    But yeah, 2013 will be the return of offense to the FSU/UF series. FSU will finally have a veteran, big, deep OL.

    I cheered for FSU way above Bobby Bowden so I select no individuals over the betterment of the program. Not that you were insinuating that but I don't care for cheering on individuals, I laud players based on observation.

    If Clint is best for us next year he's my QB. I just truly believe both are real hard workers, smart, etc.....genetics won it for Coker 19 years ago.
