It really is, speaks how broke we are and how hard it is to actually work with Jimbo IMO. Jimbo better get on the ball or this class could be his downfall. 2014 anything less than 2 losses say goodbye

It has nothing to do with money. NOTHING. how broke we are. Please. Our salaries are competitive in the market place. We chose not pay Johnson 850k. He is not worth it. 61 years old, marginal recruiter, good but not great dc. Auburn overpays for coaches. If auburn wants to be stupid with its money then let it be stupid. We should not.
Gran was shown the door. So a coach leaves before he is forced to resign and that proves what?
Stoops got an hc job-why would he stay. Eliot was offered a dc job at KY and he was not here-why would he stay.
As to Craig, how much is a recruiter/non coach worth? Not much IMO. They grow on trees. Yes, even people who recruit as well as craig. however, i suspect auburn paid stupid money again. Why? Because (1) Malzahn has a small window , 2 years, to perform to keep his job and because of that fact (2) they have to overpay to get coaches because coaches may be looking for another job in 2 years.
