You have no favorite boards.
You're supposed to get a certain amount of yards on an OZ or IZ play based on blocks made, but the big gains truly come on cut backs. The key to zone running is to cut back when there's overpursuit (inside...when they are all crashing...outside...overpursuit outside). The runner must see the lane that you can cut back into. The cutbacks are where the big gains are made. I think part of JWJ's problem was that he did not cut back when he was supposed to quite a few times. He's not exactly the best fit for our scheme, but he's a darn good RB anyway.
CT, for instance, was REALLY good at stopping on a dime and cutting back.
great news for a player that 1/2 the posters said would be gone either off the team or medically dq'ed by now.
He has more hr potential than Thompson.
