I know that you are half joking, but I think people completely overreact to recruits saying this. Half of our committed players have said they were going to make their final decision on national signing day. I think putting stock into what high school kids say in articles in really silly. They never say the same thing twice; even when they have two articles written about them in a 3 day span.

I still think he's a Nole in the end. He realizes that this is a huge decision, so he wants to make sure he's making the right one. I don't agree with all this committing, reaffirming your commitment, and then still opening things back up, but you have to remember he's just a kid. Once he looks around and takes a few days to think everything over, I still believe he will feel most comfortable here.

Maybe his dad is loyal to the school and not just the old staff. He wouldn't be the first player to be loyal to both.

he won't screw us over this late in the process. He does not owe fsu anything. However, i would be very surprised if Mario sr. would tell his son, what the hell decommit to my alma mater 3 weeks before signing day.

I fully believe when he steps on campus here it will reaffirm his decision. He might not even make the trip to LSU. We will find out soon enough. Nole in the end is my bet

If he thought Austin was a country town boy is he wrong...Its up there with the nicest college towns in the country an def way nicer than Tally..

Austin sucks. It's a hippy town. I live in Texas and stayed there last year for a week.

Why are you people stressing over one player???
Besides all that, he has now added LSU and dumped OU, but it's not because LSU is ranked #1 in the country or anything. Texas is just Texas, close to home.

healthguy - I don't know what you don't like about Austin as it is a beautiful city with tons of things to do and places to go. I've never talked with anybody that has spent time there that didn't like Austin. Texas as a University is a really good school with great facilities.
Since you think Austin sucks tell me some places you like. Where do you live in Texas and are you an aggie?
