There is a lot of talent in Ga. We get our share of it. Elgwe, smith, demps etc.
however there is much more talent in Ga than Bama. Many times more.
by the same token, there are about 3-5 times the prospects in Cal than there are in Ga.
as to qualifying, Ga recruits have the same issues as Players do everywhere else in the south. commiting to sEc schools helps the qualification process because of lower entrance requirements as compared to schools in other conferences.
It does not hurt having good ga. recruiters. Getting stronger in Ga at the expense of Bama is more than a fair tradeoff IMO. however, not at the expense of parts of fl.
Also, I think getting stronger in the carolinas is more beneficial than being strong in Bama given the disparity in the number of prospects between the 2 areas.
Ga has the most players pre capita in the NFL. i suspect Tx or cal has the most players total.
