UM was never going to get an invite elsewhere anyways. They dont have enough money, support, fanbase, facilities, not any recent relevance or anything that would boost them into a hot commodity. The idea of posting this is almost to make it sound like UM is a hotter commodity than it really is. Almost gives a perception that teams are looking at UM and UM is making the decision. Its a easy choice if you dont have an offer and wont get one

haha yep. If we leave UM, they are screwed bigtime. Think about this for a moment. If we knock UM off our schedule, what big name opponent do they replace us with on an annual basis? We replace UM with the likes of WVU, Texas, OU, and big name teams that will absolutely bring their fans to Doak. UM just recently signed an agreement with FAU in which UM will actually go play a game in Boca. Think about how far that program has fallen to make that decision. Can you imagine what would happen if we agreed to go play at ULM or some sunbelt team?

Run on to the Big 12 yellow bellies; good luck getting S. Fla boys to come to your "school" when you've got Iowa St. on the schedule. As for high profile teams to replace you with I would argue they will be lining up at the door to get on the field with the U and into the homes of recruits. The U don't need y'all, we are focused on getting ourselves right and then things will fall into place. FSU is more concerned about putting makeup on a pig.

I would like miami to come for the rivalry and so we have a game in sfla every other year
As for your comments around yellow belly and big time replacement for FSU
First we would be going to a conference MUCH harder then the ACC, it would be about $ and not fear
Second there are no "big time replacements" left other then nd and if we leave and say Clemson or vt not shot in hell they join the acc

I've never posted on this site before, but this one was to good to pass up. UF and FSU will continue to go into SFL, until Miami becomes relevant Nationally again, period.
FSU is trying to get out of the ACC before the conference collapses, which is completely understandable. There's actually conferences that would take on FSU, unlike Miami. Miami offers 1 thing right now, and that's it, a recruiting hotbed. Besides that, there's no fan support, money, and the facilities suck. Miami has a LONG ways to go to get back to where they want to be. Miami would be the welfare program of any of the big conferences, contribute nothing, expecting something. Just how it's right now.

A Florida gator fan is talking crap about the U, the Mayans must have been correct. We'll see you in 2013, I'm shocked you panzees churned up the cajones to come down south. Try going outside of the confederacy for a game before you start talking. You lost by a combined score of 79-21 too Ala/LSU, you should thank your lucky stars that your in the SEC and have the ability to ride other teams coattails. And this is exactly the road that FSU is headed down. Why is the conference so bad in football? For one because the schools who were brought in to make the ACC a powerhouse (FSU, Miami) have been straight bumville lately. FSU has been better than Miami in recent years, but not good enough to look down their noses as though they are too good for the ACC or that they are not a major part of the problem. Miami actually gets some of the highest TV ratings in the game, and they fill visiting stadiums; ask FSU they know, that minor league baseball stadium was filled to the brim last year. Miami brings a lot to the table not to mention a top notch academic institution. Miami will be fine whatever FSU decides to do.

Looks like the Canes are staying in the ACC
