Looks like James Hearns is another lincoln punk

    Didn't even know he was at camp in the first place.

    I believe this was at the 7 on 7 camp/tournamnet Saturday which is different from the Jimbo Fisher Camp that was Thursday-Friday.

    From what I read, Glauser was the one who actually tweeted him first... I dont know why he would even want to pick a fight with a high schooler, but it was kind of funny to read.

    Naw, Glauser was trying to "stick up" for FSU. One thing about Daniel, the kid has more love for Tally then most of our fans. He's a true blue seminole.

    Lincoln kids have been an absolute JOKE at the college level. I'm happy our coach drives right on by on recruiting trips. No point stopping in that hole, let them bust somewhere else.

    Trying to remember the last Lincoln kid who was better at football than running their mouth. It's been a few years.

    yep. the kid absolutely bleeds Garnet and Gold. Its definitely worth getting a twitter just to follow him. Huge fan of him. Also, if you want to rep your team, thats fine, just dont do it at the school's camp. Do it at a neutral field like the UA game or something. If a Nole commit chopped at a gator or cane camp, i would expect them to be ejected

  • I don't really have a problem with it. Of course you'd rather kids not act like this, but had it been one of FSU's commits doing it at their camp we would have thought it was great. We would have claimed that we love his fire and thought it was awesome that he was showing his love for FSU. No need to have hurt feelings because a rival done it.
    Airplane @ spring game>gator chomp @ FSU camp. FSU is still in the lead. Don't be so sensitive. Enjoy the rivalry and everything that comes with it.
    I just wish Glauser had not gotten into it with a high school kid. I love that he bleeds garnet & gold, I really do, but I still wish it wouldn't have happened. Save that stuff for the field and kids not in high school.

    I've read our fans went after Hearns pretty hard on twitter. If true, that's the saddest part of the whole story. He's 17 years old. He's in high school. Let him be that and just overlook it.

    He does have an offer from FSU. You guys would be cheering if a nole commit did that to us. Step off the soapbox and get the grown adults talking smack to high school kids off twitter. Guy who posted before me was dead on.

    He does not have a FSU offer, FSU showed zero interest to him and would never waste a scholarship on him.

    Then please explain why when I go to FSU offers on the FSU 247 recruit database I see James Hearns listed there, along with many other guys committed to UF?

    From the former kings of "noncommittable offers," that's pretty rich. How many players did you guys "offer" when Urban was there? About 250 per cycle.

  • Do people not know yet that fsu people didnt kick him out. He received a 2nd flag for taunting and was ejected by referees. That taunting was throwing up a gator chomp but it wasnt any fsu people that kicked him out.

  • If all he did was do the Gator Chomp then who cares... he shouldn't have been tossed. BUT, somehow I seriously doubt that's all that he did.

    I say let the kids have fun, but something tells me that this Lincoln knucklehead was trying to cause problems. Typical of that high school.

  • I come in piece. I read an article where he got his first flag for playing to rough, and the second for the chomp. And the stereotyping of the kids from Lincoln is wrong, saying they are knuckle heads, classless, punks, etc.. is wrong unless you know them personally.

    What Lincoln kids have run their mouth other than Fred Rouse and most of us were happy to have him on our team until he started getting into trouble? There might have been some busts, but every school has their fair share of them. We have also had some pretty good players come from there like Pat Watkins and Craphonso Thorpe.

    And after returning an interception, Hearns and the opposing quarterback got into it. Hearns threw the chomp in the QB's face and was hit with a taunting flag, his second of the tournament. The second taunting penalty triggered the ejection.

    How many kids get thrown out for taunting at a 7 on 7?
    Then he claims it was for the little gator thing he did.......then makes comments about a player on the local college team.....yep definately a mature young athlete....
    Maybe he will learn?
