Lol at our OL (OT) recruiting for 2014

I was going through the top OTs and OGs of next year.
There is only one Florida based OT in the top 45 OTs so far (#3 OT overall Kc McDermott)
I click his list of offers and this is what I see.
SMH he has offers from Bama, ND, OSU, UF, Miami, UGA, Michigan, and Oklahoma...
But no offer from us. It there a reason for this or is Trickett just up to his famous tricky OL recruiting for next year?
No hate on Trickett (but he needs to go)

His brother is the starting center, I think, for UM. He is a hurricane.

Keith Bryants cousin is on the Canes?
We still need to try....
UF is going after Gavin a 2016 prospect hard threes years in advance because he is a diehard FSU fan. SMH if we don't show enough interest we will lose him.
You lose all the shots you don't take and a top prospect in a position of need is a must offer IMO considering he is instate.

I agree. Timmy Jernigan's parents had a Gators mailbox and the kid had Gators posters all over his room. Everyone assumed Mackensie Alexander would go the same place as his brother Mackenro. You just can't assume anything in recruiting especially this far out. These kids makes business decisions. I remember a few years back UF and FSU had the Mincey brothers on opposing teams.

Damian Prince
Corey Martinez
Mason Cole
Garrett Brumfield
It's a year out but all those guys are pretty damn good. There's also Reilly Gibbons and Orlando Brown who could get more interest. Wasn't Trevor Darling at a couple orange bowl practices? Bottom line, stop freaking out about the 2014 OL class. Plenty of freaking out about 2013 still to be done

I was saying you never know where recruits end up, especially a year out.
If you build a relationship and get your foot in the door you have a better chance than looking at it.

Here are some more OT prospects that I think will get offered soon or have already been offered.
5* Prince DC - Saw a tweet by Bushido from 4 months ago that stated we were in his top 2 along with MD. Odell is his primary recruiter. 2nd ranked OT, 11th overall prospect.
4* Spain NC - Don't believe we have offered yet but I think he will likely get an offer soon. I think with our staff make up, we will do well in the Carolinas next year. 5th OT, 51ST overall
4* Stanley SC - Same as Spain, we haven't offered but I believe we will soon and should be able to at least compete for his signature. 6th OT, 74th overall
4* Allen NJ - Has an offer. Ranked 25th OT
4* Gibbons FL - Don't believe we have offered yet but I do believe we will soon. Ranked 15th OT and 135th overall
4* Brown GA - Has an offer ranked the 26th OT
Basically I would be surprised if the above don't all receive offers within the next couple of months. I also think we are in good position for Cole and Martinez.

But it has started and there is elite talent that has been evaluated close by and we haven't even looked at him or gotten serious.
