    Guys I don't know why you guys argue with these people. Of course they'll take Howard, Bush, Hamilton, Chick, Perryman, or OL, Duke etc. They're just not gonna admit that. FSU is gonna win a NC title this year please bro give me a break. With they pathetic offense. Yes, while Miami has underachieved the last 9-10 years, you guys have underachieved since u've had that joke of a program top 5 finish in 50 years, thats not consistency thats choking. To them Mia is a joke, when the joke is their underachieving top 5 all hype team. You guys actually think that Golden doesn't know anything about the sanctions when he keeps pulling kids, c'mon. At the end of the day u guys wish to be Miami even w sanctions, all the titles, guys in the NFl all the big time players and all the title games we've played in. I

    We wish to have a dying football program, that doesn't even have their own stadium, with no future in site. We wish to be fans of a University who's very own administration/faculty despise the football program. We wish to cling onto past glory, because there's nothing relevant to discuss in today's world. We want to be those 30 year old men showing up for high-school varsity parties after Friday Night Lights, reminding everyone about when we were 17, and won a state championship when most of us were in diapers.

    Seriously guys...yes, we'd take some of your players. Your last class had a few really good players. But don't doubt for a second that you'll get hit hard with sanctions and then we'll see.

    I'll throw out there that Vanderbilt will have a more accomplished decade than duh U...similar type of school...private, good academically.

    No, FSU was 0-3 against state schools in 2009.....no bragging rights for us.

  • Hasn't FSU beaten UM and UF 2 years straight, with a combined score of 123- 50? Is UF going to win in Tally this year? Is Miami going to suit up Frank Gore and Ray Lewis to have a chance against FSU this year? Help me out fellas.

    Our offense will be improved. Unfortunately for UF our defense will be too. No, you've got no shot. UF doesn't have the horses on offense.

    I find it hilarious that gator fans think Driskell / Brisset is the answer this year and that either are some type of seasoned veteran at QB. If one of them played the entire game last year (assuming not knocked out), the outcome would have been the same.

    Oh and Pease is the answer - HAHA; Does UF have Kellen Moore on the team (he ran the offense, not Pease)? Not even close - Do you think that one of Driskell or Brisset will turn into Moore this year; Uh No. Pease might be a decent coach, but him coaching QBs, OC, and now WRs is going to be pretty hard in the SEC.

    I'll say this, UF's OL will be improved (maybe), but who is a threat at WR? Who the heck is going to run the ball (GIll, LOL) and UF kicked their best TE off the team - now you're going to relie on a Frosh and a hybrid QB?

    UF will struggle to score 10 points against FSU's defense in Doak.

    Agree - Miami fans think that beating BC, the WORST team (worse than Duke) in the ACC will "right" the ship and set their trajectory to a MNC... Heck, they are even penciling USF as a "W", which is pretty far from the truth.

    Uh UF may have had more yards on offense but they didn't do much better. And that game was in the Swamp and they barely avoided a shutout until a third string running back for FSU fumbled inside his own 25 yard line. If I also remember correctly UF had a difficult time with that 3 and 1 (maybe 4th and 1) play where they lost 20 yards.

  • I am confident in our team and deep down I feel we will sweep the state of Florida this year but the reality is we will have our hands full with all of them.

    I will reserve judgement on this season after our first game and yes I say first game because that will allow me to see where our Oline is at. Weak competition or not if they cant open holes we will have a long year, just like last year.

    It is tough pulling those hard core Dade kids out of there. The HS coaches and fans are mostly hardcore Canes and want to the local talent to go to Miami.
    I dont blame them.
