I would say we have a MUCH greater than 50% chance at landing #6. He once declared us his leader. Upon receiving heat from all those around him he back pedalled and declared that he had "no leader." The truth is, #6 is not going to play for a team with limited scholarships, a team that can't play in bowl games, a team with a crap DL. And he's not going OOS to Bama. That leaves us, his first choice. We still have Coley (his main man) and I think the addition of Pruitt and his aggressive style of D has to further intrigue #6. Pruitt told him that there will be plenty of blitzing opportunities for him. He said that he liked the sound of that. #6 will be playing Jack for us on Saturdays. I realize this one's gonna hurt, but please take it like a man. Things could always be worse. Now go to sleep young buck.

Many months ago he declared us his leader. It may have been over the summer, I don't recall. There was a little feature on 247. Shortly therafter, he said that he no longer had a leader. I'm just speculating that he took this position because EVERY football fan in Dade wants him to stay home. Also, when Pruitt got the job one of the many recruits he spoke to was #6. He told him how he would use him. He (Pruitt) said that he envisioned using Thomas in a lot of blitz packages, maybe even as Jack in a 3-4. Thomas said he liked the sound of that. That was on 247 too. Thomas also said that he would enjoy playing behind our DL. Additionally, every "insider" on this board has said he will not play OOS. Most recently (last night) Josh reported that before boarding the airplane to return from his official at USC Thomas called Jimbo. He has his official with us next weekend. Now, this is not a slam dunk, but I personally feel he announces our name on NSD. I hope I'm right too!

Keith Bryant didn't get any love for the same reason Whitfield was stripped of his official vist on the 18th the staff knows they are FSU bound and didn't need any trolls recruiting against them. To tell you the truth if we do land Bryant I will not be excited. You can have him not becuase he is not a stud which he clearly is but becuase he isn't the current regimes type of player. The Tie is looking for team players to by into a concept (core values) everything about bryant exudes the opposite. By the way he has handled his recruitment it is clear he is a prima donna. No prima donnas needed down at the U. Congrats if you get him, another headache "ME first player" to deal with.
