Josh, what if we do not get any commits coming out

    He said that because of TNole's constant complaing about Trickett, not that we expected them to commit

  • A big reason for the lack of commitments is really because of the lack of overall visitors. We had a lot of visitors, but most were not at the top of our board and a big reason for this was the ACT being yesterday. I mean, at the end of the day, out of all of the visitors that showed up yesterday, the only ones you would take commitments from would be: Ryan Green (who we lead for), Richy Klepal (who could commit to us at any time), Marquion Lane (not even sure if he could commit, but I'll list him), and possibly Juwaan Williams (again, not certain he could).

    We are in it for a lot of big name players, so to say our recruiting is down because of 1 weekend is stupid. When all the players on our board start committing somewhere else, then you have a point. As of now, very few players that we had a legit shot at have committed to other schools.

    Daniel McMillan (UF)
    Nick Washington (UF)

    Any other players that we have offered that committed somewhere else were never players we were supposed to land. Derrick Henry, Greg Bryant, Johnny O'Neal, etc.

    We are in cardiello's top 2. And he is going to Uga mainly because of his friendship with one of their players.

    To be fair, even though he's not the only person on the staff responsible for recruiting OL, he has two very good, young gaurds. An apparent Trickett special with Austin Barron at center, oh and a 3 star DL recruit who is now our beast LT. Now for fall camp he'll have two 6'6 320 pound JUCO transfers, and a 4 year veteran battling for the final OL spot. The level of confidence I have in this years OL is far higher than it was at abut Game 2 of last season.

    2010 Oline class was very good.....
