I get the impression that our coaches don't want guys who need constant attention. Timely communication, of course, but constant attention guys just seem like they always say we don't contact them enough. That's just my opinion, but it seems to be a pattern I'm picking up.
It hurts when it's with a guy in a position of need. Well, as a fan, it hurts to hear that a stud in a position of need has any complaint about the staff - but, I think the staff behaves this way on purpose.
Jimbo has said time after time that 'talent wins games, character wins championships'. Perhaps Jimbo feels that a guy who needs constant attention would be a character risk.
No idea, just throwing out a theory.

Well in Champs FIRST year at UF landing a top 5 class is god awful I guess, gimme a break... Jimbo was at FSU for what, 2 yrs before he became the Head Coach, he had a chance to put down roots an establish relationships before he took over as HC.. Just sayin, Jimbo has done a hellva job recruting there is no denying that. But you cant say Muschamp hasnt been good on NSD cause hes only had one, and we went 7-6. If we would have landed some of those kids we finished 2nd for our class would have been crazy and thats after a 7-6 season. So im happy with how we finished, we didnt get everyone we wanted but this year we are off to a HOTT start to say the least.
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.

Lol Don't act like Muschamp was at a disadvantage in recruiting because he wasn't a HCIW. Guess what, Jimbo also didn't inherit a team that had won 2 NCs in the previous 5 years before he got the job. UF recruited itself like USC and Bama do after they have success. As much as you hate Meyer he deserves just as much credit as Muschamp for your class. As a Nole we know how much harder recruiting becomes when you don't win a NC in over decade. Muschamp had a much easier role to jump into than Jimbo and it's not even close.

So wait a sec, your tellin me Muschamp inherited a national championship CALIBER team?? Please, id love to hear that one. What he inherited was the youngest team in the SEC, what he inherited was a team with zero leadership an to top it off we had about 60 players last yr, down 25 basically from everyone else. You fail to mention the almost 30 transfers from all those great Meyer recruting classes, whys that?? They dont count?? Muschamp recruted his ass off in his 1st yr, and this yr he is already out recruting your boy Jimbo and it aint even close...
