I hope we are truly on the precipice of bring "back," but I actually think we are farther than we think. We imagine it is close because we have been to the mountaintop, but I actually think we have "arrived" at a pretty good place, in a second-tier group of teams typically ranked between 6 and 15, and including strong, but not quite overwhelming, programs like South Carolina, Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, VT, UF, Notre Dame, Tamu.
Any one of these programs could rise up and join the elite of Alabama, LSU, Oregon--with Alabama obviously in a class by themselves. But I don't know that FSU is any more poised to do so than the others.

Were getting great athletes and some really are vital to our team and help us tremedously. But some either don't pan out or our coaches don't develop them. Recruits are great but if coaches don't do their job, it's pointless. We need 11 W's every year. It's what our coaches and recruits are capable of and we should get no excuses.

I am very excited about who we have had, and OVERALL our coaches have done a great job developing people. And yes we had 12 wins this past year. We need it Consistently! That was my point. We need the 11 wins or more to be in the National Spotlight every year. Guys who didn't pan out Jeff Luc big one, Darious C (UF). and over obvious O-Line gaps Jacob F, Daniel G, Dan Foose, John Prior, Aubrey Phillips, Jordan Prestwood. All guys who enrolled and qualified and didn't get along with coach and left or stayed and have never seen the field. But let me say again it's great getting recruits but we got to have coaching and the kids have to produce CONSISTENTLY on the field for us to stay at 11 wins every season. We did it this past season but we need to do it every season to be an Elite Team!
