Jack Nicklaus is not happy with Jimbo Fisher

Head to 6:15 in to see what Jack Nicklaus (yes the Golden Bear. that one) has to say about Nick O'Leary's lack of involvement in Jimbo Fisher's offense.

Where's the interview with Jack Nicklaus saying, "I'm not happy with Jimbo Fisher!" Not impressed with the headline's connection with a five second clip....Assumption is yet to be proved. Let's interview Nick O'leary is see if he said those words..Doubt it.

Sounds like any other grandfather whose grandson isn't the star of the team. Only this time, the grandfather is Jack Nicklaus.

I don't recall even seeing our TE's get any passes thrown their way vs the Terps.

when the offense line is having a hard time, the TE becomes more important as a blocker. Once our line gets better there will be more opportunities for O leary to catch passes in the offense.

I'm sure all of the Golden Bear's days on the golf course have made him an expert on how best to use a tight end in a pro style college offense, however I'll pass on even listening.

Bingo. We have a winner.
When the OL is protecting and efficient, the TE wil lbe chipping and getting off the line for the passes. Right now, we can't get adequate protection and protection of the QB is primary for an offense. It's like me saying that I can't believe I can't get make my short putts when my driver sucks and puts me on the green after 6 hacks.

He sat right below me at the Duke game with Nic's parents. He seemed very much into the game and happy with Nic's participation and performance. Hard to believe he was just sitting in the crowd like any other spectator.

Too right mate.
I can't putt, my drives are mostly turtle bombs, and my irons are weak. Other than that I'm a heck of a golfer!

Have not checked out the link yet but how can you be that upset about the involvement he has gotten? Nick is a true freshman starter that plays the majority of the snaps. Give him some time (as well as the mentioned OL improvement) and that should open up the playbook a little to allow him more chances. I would like to see Nick more involved but that is just the irrational fan in me. If he is not ready, or we need him to help block then our expectations are too high.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...

Nicks a freshman, he'll get his.
I believe in Jimbo, but I'm not exactly thrilled with him at the moment either. We started the season ranked #5 and we are currently 4-3 and unranked.
