I mean I know it's Valdosta and all but I'm sure they have a fax machine readily available. Pretty much every other kid had his LOI faxed in right before or right after their announcement

Unsigned LOI's have to be sent back to the school.

Oh... like saying if I signed a lease to an apartment but never turned it into to management and instead tore it in half then set it on fire, I'd still be obligated to live there? I hope you're kidding. Kids have been known to sign multiple LOI's on signing day and only fax one in.

In regard to the Markish Jones thing, how was Clempsun able to prove what time he signed each LOI? It would seem you would need a signature, date, and time to determine something like that.
I'm asking because I have absolutely no clue if they time-stamp their LOI's or what

Does not matter. If there is public witness of him signing the document it is legally binding.
I know it doesn't seem right since you usually have 3 days to back out of any contract but could you imagine the additional NSD drama if they were allowed to do that?

They went back to replay. If I remember right, they used the TV cameras that were there to see which one he signed first.

Not saying this is the case. But do y'all remember when tommy Bowden was at Clemson and a kid apparently signed a loi to him but bobby was the one who got the kid and the fax! No one knows what happened to that loi!! Btw can't remember the kids name.

Thats an apartment not recruiting and he was seen on camera signing that loi. Markish jones did that when he signed on espn to clem then changed his mind and tried to sign to FSU and he couldnt because he had already signed one.
