The way I see it is our RBs are the most underutilized group, but this topic has been beaten to death.

Pass blocking has looked fine to me.

3 step drops. Rodney ran deep at least 15 times against OU and the QB wasnt protected enough to make the long read and had to check down.

I do think Jimbo could max protect and look deep (Keep Lonnie and Ty in the backfield and go deep), but Rodney takes awhile to get deep and the QB checks down before he is open

A big part of utilizing all of our weapons on offense is converting 3rd downs, extending drives, and running a lot of plays. This season's edition of NOLE offense has been more of a bigplay offense than in recent years. Ponder's experience and presnap reads contributed to both our running game by getting us into the right play for the defense we faced and 3rd down conversions. EJ and Clint will improve in this area with more time and we will become a ball control team with more potential bigplay options than we have had in years. By the end of this season we can have a really good offense. I expect our running game to improve as the QBs gain experience. We may have a different receiver featured in almost every game because we have so many developing so well.

Rodney has really developed and is a weapon...we just have MORE weapons than we have had for awhile and a different weapon may shine each week.

Agree 100%. The fact that 85 has seen more snaps than 24 this year is the #1 reason I'm questioning jimbo right now.

4 catches per game is pretty darn good considering he is the deep threat.

Not sure what's been going on with NOL but I don't see why Little even sees the field. Yes, Reliford makes some boneheaded plays but with his size, he can be a threat. NOL is a natural.

Greene has the IT factor. Waiting on C. Green to shine and Shaw, what else can you say, he's solid and everyone praises his route running abilities.
