All games are important, if you don't think so try losing one and see how people act.-B.Bowden

Everyone else has had their crack at the SEC. Oregon, OSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Notre Dame. It would be awesome if we put a stop to the dominance. Beating an SEC team for all of the marbles would be one of the best moments in program history.
We have the players to beat to anyone in the country and definitely on our schedule. It will be up to the new staff and how quickly they can come together. Also we have to fix what was inherently wrong last year and that's a lack of 60 minute focus. We didn't play a complete game all year. It's time for Jimbo to keep the fire stoked. Every team has a few unimpressive wins but we had about eight of those last year.
No more slow starts. Or letdowns after racing out to a big lead against a mediocre team that has no business hanging around. Force turnovers and don't give it away. Smart, disciplined 60 minute football and there isn't a team on our schedule that can beat us. I know I sound like Captain Obvious but that shoulda been last year.

lets just play a good game against pitt, and stay humble.one thing we will have a better throwing qb,and game management than last year.teams will respect us if our qb is the leader of our team from game one.last year in 9 of our games the qb looked confused, and inconsistant.its not his fault though its jimbo's fault the kid could'nt run jimbo's complicated offense.

jimbo has an awesome offense, but ej could only operate it at maybe 65%.i love fsu,but we had poor qb play in 9 games especially against uf/vt/gt/ncst the qb was confused in those games.ej is a better athlete than trickett, but trickett will operate that offense at 90% because it fits his style of play better.

Bottom line is we can't lose a game and I'd be surprised if I'm wrong, but I could be. Regardless of my unpopular opinions of our HC, he's flat out playing with a better hand than anybody in the ACC save maybe clemson at home. So in spite of my bias, I think we are set to make a run, but we just can't lose.

If we got into the title game this year by running the table, got 37 days of hype saying we are the lamb going to slaughter against TAMU or Bama and we went in and won. It would be the pinnacle of our program. The coverage would be unceasing. Boosters pouring in out of the woodwork, etc.

Is FSU poised to make a legitimate title run in 2013?
