speculation and fluff pieces, according to ALOT of people with inside info, this is a done deal and has been for a few weeks now. only two places are denying this and one is warchant(thats because DOT doesnt have inside sources anymore, they left with the bowden regime and jimbo hates him so he gets nothing) and the other is FSU. FSU has to deny it. i remember about 2 or 3 weeks ago someone with good info even said it was going to get quiet soon and FSU is going into complete denial mode. it happened and so is us going to the BIG 12

@gswaim is now saying that the exit fees might be a hold up. He is now saying we are going, but it might not be until next year. Who knows what will happen? I think we will know more when the playoff is voted on and the new commish takes over.

Yea we were apparently supposed to announce intentions to explore but we didn't have the money so couldn't announce. I really hope big 12 helps out and acc fee is lowered. Do you have to pay fee still if conference breaks apart? Lol

This isn't even close to true.
We weren't supposed to announce intentions to explore. We aren't supposed to hear anything until after Bowlsby is officially commish, playoff is 100% certain, etc. The playoff locking out the ACC gives FSU another excuse to bounce.

This is 100% incorrect. As madibeth points out, Oliver has sources that Bud can't cant sniff. Ingram is Bud's source on a lot of realignment stuff.
