Miami is foolish. The ACC is about to completely disintegrate, and they want to be stuck in it. Shocking.

I LOL every time I read something like that. Not at you, but at the thought that UM is some prestigious academic powerhouse. In my experience a degree from Coral Gables isn't as valuable outside Miami as UM would like to believe.*

*This may not be true in New Jersey, where it would seem a substantial number of their students come from.

Dang Shame UF, UK, and USC are hugging each other and dont want yall... i want yall SOOO bad in the SEC... and if yall go Big 12 great for y'all... FSU needs to be relevant, it just adds soo much to college football...

anyways, is it looking like yall need to drop UF or Miami? my vote is for Miami, UF is a bigger deal IMO... but man, i hope this is a great meeting... Scalp them Gators!!! i hate em...

I don't think this is when the news breaks. At best we'll hear something about entertaining talks.

As others have mentioned, we won't hear anything definitive for a while. We should hear soon that FSU is looking, while the BIG12 will continue to say they are happy with their current 10. Then, in late summer, bam. Announcement that we are all waiting for

For those asking who Ingram smith is, he is a writer for chuckoliver. We talk a lot and the guy knows his stuff. His connections aren't limited to FSU either, he has connections to most ACC and sec schools.

Yea, i knew i forgot something when i was typing... thanks man... its just sad because school's with smaller states (Miss. State, Ole Miss, and Bama, Auburn) have that disadvantage... same as Tennessee and Vandy... (i know to less effect with last two examples) but Ole Miss and state share a very rural state, with not as much talent... its near impossible for two SEC teams to survive being surrounded by Bama and LSU and STILL have to share our small state...
