In a Stoops type of defense, yes. He's a definite system fit. Hoskins would be a much better SAM in FSU's system IMO

I think he is a WIL for us. Like Bush said, he has better lower body flexibility than Vince.

I think his greatest strength is taking on blocks. He is a really physical player. And I could even see him at RDE is necessary.

Really good pick up. I rewatched his youtube vids this morning and I'm excited about his potential.

FSU's '12-'13 LB haul to date: Eligwe, Northrup, Hoskins, Lyons and E.J. All of these kids are at least 6'2" and at least 220 right now, and none have even finished high school. Add in RS frosh Terrance Smith (another stud out of LB central casting, who now has lit up Lonnie Pryor in two straight spring games) and FSU's LB corps look to be in great hands going forward.

He is on a different planet then Vincen as in talent and ahtleticism.

So does his commit all but rule out an offer to Michael Deeb?
