I agree, and their new administration might be looking to make a big statement by switching to the conference with the best academic reputation (not that the Big10 is a slouch in that department). Nonetheless, PSU is a much, much bigger draw that Rutgers and UConn put together for football, and as for basketball, well we have enough BB schools IMO. We need another football power, and PSU fits the bill. It would also be nice for them to be able to renew their traditional rivalries with ND and Pitt. And it's not like the Big10 has helped their football program - they haven't played for the BCS title since they joined.

ACC CCG in Met-Life Stadium....the ACC would become THE conference for the entire East Coast, which incidentally is the top population base in the country and has all but 3 of the top 10 television markets.
