how many times does it need to be said. We are not improving our running game. It's mind boggling that people can not get this through their head. Every week the same thing is said, we won't be able to run the ball all year. Better come to that realization now.

I don't think we suck and the ACC actually appears to be stronger than they have been in awhile (FSU, VT, GT and Clemson are all top-25 teams)...although the next 5 teams on our schedule aren't strong.

Yeah, UF is very talented but our D matches but a lot better with them then Clemson. Watching them now and i feel like we could contain demps and rainey and put brantley on his back consistently.

I think we will start getting things figured out soon. The coaches aren't dummies. Heck we had the ball down 5. If shaw makes that catch we are at midfield and clemsons sphincters start to tighten.

Clemson played well and has players now. Watkins is awesome, even though he did a Michael irvin against Harris.

I like our fight and now we get to rest. Let's win em all!

VT lost their 2 stud RBs, star QB and a lot of other players. Clearly worse than last year

GT sucks. They are ranked cause the havent been beaten yet. They have played bad teams. Early season rankings mean nothing

Clemson is better than last year, but far from good. Their D is AWFUL. They just gave up 30 to a freshman making his first career start.

FSU has the worst OL they have had since 06 and it is ensuring we have taken a step back from last year

On the flip side

Maryland lost to Temple by 31 at home

NC ST lose by 30 to Big East #5 Cincy

Miami lost to Kansas St at home

BC Lost to Duke

Virginia Lost to Southern Miss

So GT has slightly improved, as has clemson, and every other team has regressed. And the ACC sucked last year, but yeah your right the ACC looks REALLY STRONG.

Don't put words in my mouth. I said the ACC appears stronger than they have in awhile. That doesn't equate to "The ACC looks REALLY STRONG".

I've been around for years.....posting since 2002. There was a reason for the nickname, and people that were back on Warchant in the day knew why. Has nothing to do with my opinion on Bobby.

We have some dbags for fans. All they want is a BCS National Championship, and don't think about circumstances. You lose your #1 QB for the year - that goes for any program, do you think they can still go undefeated? Name a school...

And before anyone says we didn't lose today due to the QB decision, think again. We can't run for crap. But at least with Manuel, there is a THREAT to run. Teams have to be more honest, and it opens bigger plays.

We have our things to work on...but given the circumstances, 10-2 regular season is VERY impressive given that most thought it would be MUCH worse than this if EJ went down. Frankly, I thought we were going to score 17 points MAX today.

And Tally, Reid is the only one who makes plays. Maybe put in your South Carolina tape? Oh wait, we lost 4 games, you stopped following FSU and were watching the Steelers at that point, banking on an NFL trophy front runner.....sorry Green Bay crushed that dream for you....but I'm sure you're sceaming GO PACK GO this year.....

I'm not a homer. There is no reason we shouldn't rip off wins until UF. Absolutely none. We'll see the makeup of this team REALLY quickly here.

But again, anyone telling me that our two hardest games, we would be without EJ and be forced to play with Trickett, I had us losing. Sorry, the way it is.

I am a little shocked at the D today. And very disappointed Stoops wasn't blitzing more. But outside of that, was completely shocked we scored 30 points. Was shocked Trickett threw for 300+. Was shocked that the D was responsible ultimately for the L.
