I brought a bama and penn state fan with me to the game

In the second quarter the bama fan says, 'I have never seen anything like this...ever" . A couple of minutes later the psu fan on the other side of me says..."dude, I have never seen anything like this"....
For those that were questioning how loud Doak can get.... There are only 2-3 stadiums in the country that can match us for a big game atmosphere.... now, we as fans dont always get "big game atmosphere" loud every game.... but under the right circumstances....

That's great! Doak brought it last night. And the team fed off it: we solidified a lot of commits last night even with a loss.

The 2 loudest games I've been to was against Auburn and Miami in 1989. Now those games were very loud. And we won both of those games. Very proud to be Seminole.

I had a bama fan with me too, she said something similar.
Several OU fans have said last night and this morning that it was the loudest game they have been too.

Our 4 seats are on the Alumni Side (FSU'74) We stood up hollered, clapped, tomahawked and screamed the entire game when OU was on offense. The only time you could hear your neighbor's comment was when the Noles had the ball. It was ROCKIN' on our side.!

I was on the alumni side and it was rocking last night. Even the old guy in front of me was standing and yelling the whole time. Great job by the fans

I've been to many and nothing....NOTHING is louder than U Dub. It's not even close. I'm a canes fan and believe me, it's the loudest. I've been to Doak and to Lane and all over the country and it's not even close...that place is deafening. I left the stadium and my ears literally had a high pitched ring in them. I knew I was in trouble when some fans showed up wearing ear plugs....I was like, WTF???

Some people forget that when NCAA the game first came out Washington was always #1 in toughest place to play. Supposedly when they have a good team and the crowd comes amped for a game that stadium turns into a noise box somehow.

So he is talking about Washington? The crowd noise probably has something to do with the massive overhangs on each sideline. I'm sure it can be deafening in the stands, but the field is very, very open.

Fsu is not louder then bama. I have been to each about 50 times each plenty of big games. Tenn is the loudest.

I've been to lots of Bama games. Including the Auburn game last year. But last night our stadium was louder!! Very proud of our fans. My ears are still ringing.

The damn TV camera was shaking like crazy in the 4th quarter. Our fans definitely represented very, very well.

OU fan behind us had her fingers in her ears pretty much the whole game. At one lull in the action (TV timeout I think) she turned to her husband and said, "I am going to be hearing that song (the war chant) for the rest of my life."

gomez, i agree except for autzen. I gets pretty rough especially if the air is heavy b/c the sound just stays in the stadium. I guess at u dub the noise is amplified by the lake.
and then there is ucla... I kid.

Maybe, maybe not...but but my bama buddy goes to almost all the bama games... He has been to many of the stadiums in the south....
agree that the FSU games in 89 were the loudest I remember but the Rix TD, the um muffed FG, and the FG last year with clemson were the loudest single moments...
ut and that school south of us are the loudest day in, day out.. Many of the SE schools are up there...lsu, bama, burn,... vt and clemson can get loud... Ive been to Tam, meetchicken and osu.... and they are over rated... ut is not bad, neb is a blast along with nd... Coral Gables has become a quasi home game for us...
Id love to go to Wisc, Ore, and Psu....

I was at the 87 Miami, 89 Miami, 93 Miami, 94 Choke @ Doak, 96 FU, 05 Miami, 10 FU, games and some were very loud but none had anything on the OU game overall. Not even the Choke or Muff.
