Earlier today, Florida State commitment Ryan Hoefeld received a visit from Rick Trickett, the Seminoles offensive line coach. The visit strengthened his commitment to FSU.

  • Between him and Jesus Wilson for my favorite commits in this class. Just love this kids attitude.

  • He really is great to speak with. Very knowledgeable about the technical aspects of playing offensive line and just passionate about succeeding at the next level, both as an individual and as a team. I bet he is up for 'Captain' discussion by the time he graduates.

Agreed. He definitely comes off as the type of guy who will be the glue that holds a team together.

  • Kid epitomizes the remaining good in college football. Really seems like a class act and think he will become a highly productive player and one of the standouts in this class.

    +1 Nicely done Mr. Loy!

  • At 280 right now, I think there is no doubt he has the frame to carry well over 300 pounds. Add that to the mean streak he shows in his high school clips, and I think this guy is going to be really good for FSU.

Yeah, he may come in ready to play. The battle between he and Lovelady will be a good one in 2014. Both should be 300+.

So, for 2013, the depth chart should be:

    Stork (senior)
    Barron (junior)
    Lovelady (junior)
    Hoefeld (Fresh.)

Not a bad spot for Hoefeld as he could be a 3-year starter with the others graduating by then.

    Right?
