I really wish C.C. Davis didn't bust his knee up

Booker could've been a spectacular slot receiver. Yet another failing of the old regime was recognizing this and convincing Lorenzo this was best.

Imo Booker was a better college rb than Leon, and if I remember correctly Leon came in out of shape his senior season. That's not to mention they both had horrible coaching. Pathetic. They both are two of my favorite noles ever.

Looks to me to be a SOLID class with more than enough play makers and defenders to make us a quality team. The lack of OL-men was the major issue I see in this class..

Lots of wasted talent, both by coaching and by personal "issues".

Seems like most of our classes in the 2000s were littered with several non-qualifiers.

I think as we see this go through the last 10 years or so, there's hardly a class that doesn't have EXACTLY these same issues that plagued the 2002 class. Every class in the 00s was plagued with academic non-qualifiers and deeply troubled kids with issues (like Fred Rouse) that were well known seemingly to everyone but our staff.

This was not an aberration in 2002. It was the NORM!!!!

Twelve kids made it to their senior year? Listen that's very high number compared to some of the later classes that had virtually no upperclassmen left on their roster. Heck I can't remember a single year before Jimbo took over we didn't have 3/4 schollies to give to walk-ons because we were hemorraging players.

Every year people would apologize for a weak season by pointing out we were a very young team. Why were we a very young team every single year does that make sense? Because few players of any quality made it to their jr or senior year.

Wait till you see some of the classes around 2007, 2008. Think this staff was lazy recruiting and coaching? By the mid to late 00s they were downright comatose.
