He's far from the worst in the league now. He's improved (or others have gotten worse). I don't recall the game, but I think he called a fair one last time we had him.

His crew has actually become one of the better ones in the ACC.
I know that doesn't count for much, but hey.
And remember, the last time we took the field (Duke) the refs didn't go out of their way to give FSU the business.
Not to mention this is the premier game this Thursday. Funny business will be magnified and the ACC has already handed out punishments and reprimands...

In regards to the Duke game, the refs were reeling after their colleagues got their hands spanked from our Miami game. I am sure the ACC told them to be aware in the Duke game. I fully expect them to call BS stuff tonight, because we are 3 wks removed from the Miami fiasco.
It wasn't just the Miami game. In fact, it caught the least attention of the screw ups that weekend.

The only concern I have is that VT got jobbed by the refs in the Clemson game worse than FSU has all year, and so I hope that they aren't the team the refs have been told to go easy on....
My thought is that both teams have been screwed they may actually call a straight game. I see your concern though and it is possible
