He's far from the worst in the league now. He's improved (or others have gotten worse). I don't recall the game, but I think he called a fair one last time we had him.

His crew has actually become one of the better ones in the ACC.
I know that doesn't count for much, but hey.
And remember, the last time we took the field (Duke) the refs didn't go out of their way to give FSU the business.

I think some of you are being a bit optimistic...... RC couldn't get a job in conference USA..... the ACC is the conference for misfit refs....I mean toys.....

Bearable is a much more accurate description than "good."

In regards to the Duke game, the refs were reeling after their colleagues got their hands spanked from our Miami game. I am sure the ACC told them to be aware in the Duke game. I fully expect them to call BS stuff tonight, because we are 3 wks removed from the Miami fiasco.

I have no problems w/ him calling the game tonight. I really don't think he's been that bad as of late.

Besides, I always thought Childress was the worst.

My thought is that both teams have been screwed they may actually call a straight game. I see your concern though and it is possible

So far so good. Couple of missed holds as usual, but nothing too bad.
